Sunset Villa Care Center in Roswell, NM is seeking a Full-time Charge Nurse (RN/LPN) on the 6AM–6PM shift. You will oversee the day shift, supervise nursing staff, administer medications, and coordinate patient care. Ideal candidates have NM RN or LPN license and at least 2 years as a charge nurse, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active NM RN or LPN license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Charge Nurse.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily care and operations of the nursing team on the day shift
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents
• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure that care plans are implemented and updated as needed
• Ensure that all care is delivered in accordance with organizational policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and treatment
• Demonstrate leadership skills and expertise in maintaining a positive and supportive work environment
