Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking a RN Clinical Charge Nurse to direct and oversee unit activities on an assigned shift, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care.

This role leads a multidisciplinary team, handles staff assignments, and collaborates with nurse managers within the WellStar governance framework. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of nursing experience (2 years preferred) and hold an nursing license with BLS or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred.
• All certifications are required upon hire (BLS or equivalent).
• 1 year nursing experience required or 2 years preferred; relief charge experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Direct daily activities of the unit on an assigned shift to ensure safe delivery of care.
• Make patient assignments and manage bed flow with care team and supervisor.
• Round with physicians and monitor staffing, census, and throughput to ensure quality care.
