Responsibilities

• Assist the surgeon in the sterile field according to AORN Standards of Practice Recommendations.
• Perform scrub duties in varied specialties/procedures.
• Ensure the case has necessary sterile supplies and equipment for the surgeon and procedure.
• Assist with circulating duties under direct supervision of the RN circulator.
• Adhere to Hospital, State, and departmental policies and procedures.
