Job summary

AdventHealth in Hendersonville, NC is seeking a clinic-based Medical Assistant to provide comprehensive patient care, manage intake, document results, and support a fast-paced office. The role requires medical terminology knowledge, patient advocacy, and competency with a practice management system.

Pay starts at $16.58–$26.53 per hour with a day shift Mon-Fri 8am-5pm; sign-on and relocation bonuses are available for eligible applicants. High School Diploma and MA certification preferred.

• Expertise in patient advocacy and navigating complex systems (Required)

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for treatment and document results in the system.
• Provide whole care during office visits, including intake, tests, screenings and medications.
• Maintain confidentiality of employees and patients' information.
• Support staff by assisting patients, visitors and co-workers as needed.
• Perform clinical intake with screenings, vital signs and med reconciliation.
• Assist with minor procedures and ensure accurate documentation of results.
