Salus Homecare is seeking a caregiver for an elderly client in Santa Monica. Must be able to work consistent hours Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and have a valid driver's license and reliable car. ABOUT THE JOB:

Your job as a caregiver is vital for the happiness and health of elderly clients. You'll help them keep their dignity and improve their life quality, even as they become less independent. You'll be there to support and comfort them, always with compassion and kindness, even when it's tough. Your main tasks include:

• Being a companion and providing emotional support
• Driving them to appointments and helping with errands
• Helping with personal care like dressing, bathing, and grooming
• Making meals and snacks as needed
• Doing light housekeeping like vacuuming and laundry

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 1 year of caregiving or companion experience
• Home Care Aide (HCA) Registry Number
• Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
• Must work 1 weekend per month
