Job summary

Compass Health, Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Technician (Days) to support adults in a residential setting at the Southwest Psychiatric Facility in El Dorado Springs, MO. This full-time role offers a daytime schedule and hands-on experience in behavioral health.

You’ll help residents with daily living skills, behavior management, and safety, while documenting progress and collaborating with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• At least one year of work experience.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license at time of hire.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Support residents in building life skills, routines, and social behaviors
• Assist with rehabilitation and behavior support programs
• Monitor and document changes in behavior, mood, or physical condition
• Provide basic care, such as taking vital signs and assisting with personal needs
• Administer medication once certified as a Level 1 Medication Aide (training provided)
• Transport clients to appointments and community activities
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment
• Participate in emergency response and safety procedures
• Complete documentation accurately and on time
