Job summary

Another Broken Egg Cafe in Lexington, SC is seeking an experienced bartender to join our service-focused team. You will set up the bar, mix and serve drinks, greet guests, and ensure accurate orders with friendly, attentive service.

Qualifications

• Minimum age is 18.
• At least 2 years of bartending experience.
• Must be able to lift, carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and squat regularly.
• Must be able to stand and move for up to four hours.
• Must communicate effectively with supervisors, employees, and guests.

Responsibilities

• Set up the bar and complete opening/side work duties.
• Order, requisition, and stock liquor, beverages, and bar supplies.
• Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Greet bar guests, make recommendations, and answer questions.
• Take, record, and ring all food and beverage orders for bar guests.
• Observe guests to ensure satisfaction with food, beverages, and service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar counter and work areas.
• Adhere to state liquor laws and ABE policies.
• Practice teamwork by assisting fellow employees.
• Communicate guest concerns to the Manager on Duty.
• Present checks and process payments for all items.
• Perform cashiering for service staff and restaurant.
• Maintain knowledge of ABE standards and procedures.
