Job summary

CMI Group is seeking an Aerospace Assembly Tech for the Day shift to join a team in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves assembling parts, installing helicoils and other aircraft hardware, and performing functional tests to ensure quality compliance.

Applicants should have a minimum high school diploma or trade school, be at least 18, and be authorized to work in the United States. Prior experience is preferred but training is available to qualified candidates.

Aerospace Assembly Tech - Day Shift (Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing)

Location: 3617 E La Salle St, Phoenix, AZ 85040 (40th St & Southern)

REQUIRED: Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.

Shift: Day shift

Experience preferred, but will train!

Duties

• Install helocoils & other aircraft hardware
• Assemble parts
• Preform functional, leak and pressure testing
• Identify parts by different marking methods
• Interprets MOT (Manufacturing Operation and Tooling)
• May perform other duties as directed

Requirements

• Experience installing helocoils & other aircraft hardware preferred, but will train
• Minimum High School Diploma or trade school
• Must be at least 18 years old and Authorized to work in the US
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis without assistance.
• Must be able to stand and/or sit the majority of the shift
