Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the hospitalist team at Baptist East in Montgomery, Alabama. The role features a 9am–7pm block schedule with a 7 days on/7 days off model and no solo coverage.

Responsibilities include admissions, discharges, and rounding within the facility, working with an experienced hospital medicine team. Cerner EMR is used for documentation and orders, with strong peer support and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant eligible for hospitalist practice.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage admissions, discharges, and rounding in a hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR is preferred.
