Job summary

Chrysalis is hiring a Day Service Professional in Midvale, Utah to support adults with intellectual disabilities in a safe, respectful environment. The role requires working from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and offers an hourly wage of $16.00–$17.75.

You will mentor participants, accompany them on community outings, and help create opportunities to improve their quality of life. The position emphasizes clear communication, teamwork, and the ability to handle stressful situations

Qualifications

• Be able to work from 8 am to 4 pm.
• Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Capable of communicating well in both verbal and written form.
• Able to complete all assigned program documentation accurately and within the allotted time frames.
• Have good judgment and able to handle crisis situations.
• Have a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in daily activities and community outings (movies, fishing, bowling, games).
• Ensure safety, respect, mentorship and enjoyment during activities.
• Create opportunities to improve quality of life for participants.
