South Central Kansas Special Education Cooperative seeks an experienced Day School Principal for Haskins Learning Center for the 2027-2028 school year. The successful candidate must hold a building-level Kansas administrative license or be in a qualified program working toward one.

Administrative leadership is essential to create a positive school climate, collaborate with families and districts, and oversee staff development and instructional programs.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold a valid building-level Kansas administrative license or be in a qualified program working towards a building level administrative license.
• Administrative experience is preferred.
• Experience working in special education is highly desirable but not required.

Aufgaben

• Establish and maintain an effective culturally competent learning climate in the school.
• Provide leadership in the development of the instructional program.
• Evaluate and revise curricular and instructional programs in cooperation with staff and district administrators.
• Facilitate communication between staff, students and parents for evaluating situations and resolving conflicts.
• Administer the school and its instructional program in all facets.
• Supervise the staff and participate in recruitment, screening, hiring, and evaluation.
