Job summary

Schenectady Arc seeks a Team Leader to supervise Direct Support staff in Day Habilitation, manage caseloads, and collaborate with the Program Coordinator to hire, train and evaluate staff.

The role requires a degree in Human Services or a related field (or HS diploma with experience), a valid NYS driver’s license, and supervisory experience; the position is full-time with weekday hours and no weekends.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Services preferred, or HS diploma with required experience.
• Valid NYS driver’s license per agency guidelines.
• Supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule staffing coverage for assigned caseload.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation.
• Participate as interdisciplinary team member and share information with staff as appropriate.
• Assist in developing and implementing activity schedules addressing needs and interests of individuals served.
• Participate in activities within day program and community outings.
• Transport individuals to community activities.
• Administer medications.
