Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Community Support Professional for the Day Program in Bridgeville, PA. This part-time direct-hire role offers approximately 20–25 hours per week and pays $20.00 per hour, with multiple shifts available.

You will support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a structured Day Program, encouraging independence, assisting with daily activities, and leading arts, games, and social activities. Paid training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and assisting individuals with mobility.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid and Medication Administration certifications.
• No prior experience required—paid training is provided.
• Candidates with backgrounds in customer service, retail, hospitality, education, childcare, healthcare, or other service industries are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Support participants with daily routines while encouraging independence and self-confidence.
• Assist with personal care and medication support when needed.
• Plan and lead engaging activities such as arts and crafts, music, games, and skill-building exercises.
• Encourage participation in social, recreational, and community-based activities.
• Track participant progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with coworkers to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.
• Help maintain a positive, respectful, and safe environment for all participants.
