Job summary

New Horizons is seeking a Day Program Support employee to work with individuals in the Life Skills Day Program, providing instruction in activities of daily living and assisting with personal care needs.

Responsibilities include transportation to resources and events, teaching new skills, and applying problem solving, time management, and organizational skills to foster a positive relationship with the individuals supported.

Qualifications

• Eighteen (18) Years of Age or older
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid Driver’s License
• Complete required training including First Aid/CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in activities of daily living.
• Transport to and from community resources and events.
• Teach new skills and assist with personal care needs while the individual(s) attends the Life Skills Day Program.
