Beacon Specialized Living in Scranton is seeking a Day Program Professional to support adults with developmental disabilities in a structured daytime setting, leading engaging activities and promoting independence.

You will implement individual service plans, supervise community outings, coordinate transportation, and work with a caring team to help individuals reach personal goals while ensuring health, safety, and dignity.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• GED or High School Diploma.
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Strong communication and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured activities in daytime program.
• Support independence and social skills.
• Implement individual service plans and goals.
• Ensure health, safety, and dignity during hours.
• Provide personal care and medications (training provided).
• Complete daily logs and incident reports.
• Transport and supervise outings in community settings.
• Prepare meals and maintain a clean home environment.
