Job summary

ViaQuest Day & Employment Services is hiring for a full-time position at $17.25 per hour to support individuals with developmental disabilities in our Day Program. Training is provided; prior experience is not required.

Responsibilities include driving participants to and from the program, assisting during outings, and delivering care to promote health, safety, and independence for those we serve.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• MVR must meet ViaQuest criteria.
• Can push, lift, or carry up to 50 lbs and can climb, balance, kneel, and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Transporting individuals between homes and the Day Program using a company van.
• Participating in community outings with transportation and assistance.
• Providing direct care and support to individuals to promote independence, choice, and health/safety.

At ViaQuest Day & Employment Services we provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities within our Day Program. Training for this position is provided in its entirety sono experience is required.

Responsibilities may include:

• Transporting the individuals between their homes and the Day Program through the use of a company, passenger van.
• Participating in community outings through the transportation and assistance of the individuals served.
• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are being met at all times.
