Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network is seeking an Instructor Caregiver for their Temecula Day Program. You will support adults with developmental disabilities, promoting health, safety and well-being while serving as an advocate.

The role requires the ability to plan daily routines, assist with activities of daily living, and participate in ongoing training and assessments. A valid CA driver’s license and necessary certifications are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience preferred supporting adults with developmental disabilities.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a California Driver's License.
• Candidate must pass pre-employment screening including background check.
• Direct Support Professional Certificate Year 1 & 2 preferred or willing to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Outline and prepare daily routines for clients per IPP.
• Assist clients with bathroom needs and clothing changes as needed.
• Prepare meals and assist with cleanup.
• Support daily living and vocational activities.
• Transport clients in company vans if necessary.
