RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for a Day Program position in the United States. The DSP will provide personalized support to individuals with disabilities and mental health challenges, helping them engage in their communities with respect and compassion.

Starting Rate: $19.75/hour. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm. The role emphasizes person-centered planning, advocacy, and independent living skills with supervision and adherence to state guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to communicate clearly with individuals and families.
• Demonstrated compassion and dedication to person-centered support.
• Ability to promote independence and self-advocacy.
• Knowledge of disability rights and community integration principles.
• Accurate documentation and regulatory record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for individuals’ rights and promote health and safety.
• Encourage self-advocacy and personal choice.
• Assist with community engagement, work, and social activities.
• Teach independent living skills and daily living tasks.
• Provide transportation for appointments and activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and support.
• Address challenges with compassionate advocacy and resource connections.
• Support medication administration as required by state rules.
