Job summary

ViaQuest, Inc. in Grove City, OH seeks a Direct Support Professional (Program Specialist) for the Day Program. This full-time role Monday–Friday 1st shift provides direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them gain independence.

Paid training, CPR/First Aid certifications, and a comprehensive benefits package are offered. No prior experience required; training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to provide direct care.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Ohio driver's license with fewer than 6 points in 3 years.
• Ability to push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities to promote independence, choice and safety.
• Supervise, teach and assist individuals in daily activities.
• Transport individuals between homes and the day program using a company van.
• Provide personal care assistance as needed.
• Participate in community outings and activities with the individuals served.
