Job summary

Aplus Cleaning Services, LLC in Louisville, KY is seeking a reliable Day Porter to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming facility during business hours. You will sweep, mop, vacuum, restock supplies, and respond promptly to spills, with attention to detail and professional service.

The ideal candidate is punctual, can work independently, and communicates well with staff and visitors. Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm, with PTO and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial/custodial/day porter experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and overall appearance of the facility.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, offices, common areas, entrances, and other areas.

• Empty trash and recycling throughout the facility.
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Monitor the facility and address cleaning needs promptly.
• Respond to spills and other immediate cleaning requirements.
• Perform light general upkeep and maintenance duties.
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an organized manner.

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, professional, and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. The Day Porter will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the facility during normal business hours.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, demonstrates excellent attention to detail, and can work independently while providing professional and courteous service to employees, customers, and visitors.

Schedule

Monday–Friday Hours : 8am to 4pm

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the facility

• Follow established safety, cleaning, and company procedures
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers, employees, and visitors
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, facility maintenance, or day porter work is preferred
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
