Job summary

CCS Facility Services is seeking a Day Porter to maintain common areas of office buildings and residential properties in Houston. You will perform routine cleaning, spot cleaning, trash removal, and basic maintenance tasks to keep lobbies, corridors, and restrooms presentable and safe.

The role emphasizes punctuality, dependability, and adherence to safety procedures, with responsibilities ranging from door polishing to reporting maintenance needs to management.

Qualifications

• Punctual and reliable attendance in daily shifts.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
• Adherence to safety procedures and security rules.

Responsibilities

• Spot clean the lobby glass doors.
• Polish chrome on lobby doors.
• Vacuum elevator cabs and wipe cab doors, walls, and tops twice daily.
• Inspect the building exterior and pick up trash.
• Clean ashtrays and sand urns on every floor.
• Empty and clean exterior trash receptacles.
• Check restrooms twice daily.
• Vacuum lobby daily or as needed.
• Sweep stairwells and landings as needed.
• Remove debris from landscaped areas as needed.
• Sweep building entrances.
• Clean marks on walls, doors, and wall coverings.
• Report lights out to the Management Office.
• Report solicitors to the Management Office.
