Job summary

CCS Facility Services is seeking a Day Porter to maintain cleanliness and order in commercial office spaces and buildings. The role covers lobby maintenance, restroom upkeep, trash removal, and general floor care, with a focus on safety and timely reporting to management.

The position requires availability for an 8-hour shift from Friday through Monday, and work is conducted on-site at various client facilities. DailyPay option may be available to employees.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check.
• Attendance/Punctuality is essential.
• Dependability – follows instructions and commitments; reliable to work long hours when needed.
• Safety and Security – follows safety procedures and reports unsafe conditions.

Responsibilities

• Spot clean the lobby glass doors.
• Polish chrome on lobby doors and elevator cabs.
• Vacuum elevator cabs and wipe doors, walls and tops twice daily.
• Inspect the building exterior and pick up trash.
• Check restrooms twice daily and keep lobby area clean.
• Vacuum lobby daily and sweep stairs/landings as needed.
• Report lights out to Management and report solicitors.
• Polish elevator cab railings and doors; assist building Engineer daily as directed.
