A facilities services company is seeking a Day Porter/General Cleaner in Florham Park, NJ. The role includes vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors, trash removal, and maintaining cleanliness of restrooms and break rooms from 3 PM to 11 PM, Monday to Friday. Candidates should have a professional attitude, be hardworking and dependable, and able to lift 50 pounds. Prior cleaning experience is a plus, though training will be provided. You will be responsible for vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors, trash removal, rest room and break room cleaning, and other miscellaneous duties to ensure that building and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. Ideal candidate will have a professional attitude and appearance, be initiative-taking, hardworking, dependable, and responsible.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, mop, sweep floors and clean restrooms and break rooms.
• Remove trash and maintain general cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Perform other miscellaneous cleaning duties as assigned to maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
• Prior cleaning experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Janitor experience is a plus but training will be provided.
• Reliable transportation.
