Job summary

Advanced is seeking a motivated Day Porter to join our facility in Fresno, CA. The Day Porter will ensure the building remains clean, tidy, and welcoming for visitors and staff.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors and surfaces, restrooms upkeep, trash disposal, restock supplies, coordinate with maintenance, and follow safety protocols. Candidates should have janitorial experience, attention to detail, good teamwork, and physical stamina; shifts are day hours.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Attention to detail and maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Understanding of infection control practices and sanitary environment.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical stamina to lift and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work day and evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of common areas, lobbies, waiting rooms, hallways, and restrooms.
• Disinfect and sanitize high-touch surfaces.
• Empty and dispose of trash as directed, including exterior areas.
• Restock soap, towels, and toilet paper.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and notify when reordering is needed.
• Set up and clean meeting rooms and event spaces as required.
• Collaborate with maintenance and facility teams on cleaning-related issues.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to appropriate personnel.
• Follow safety protocols and use of cleaning chemicals.
• Perform other tasks requested by customer or Advanced team.
