Job summary

CCS Facility Services is seeking a Day Porter to maintain common areas in office buildings and other facilities, ensuring a clean and orderly environment. Responsibilities include lobby cleaning, trash removal, restroom upkeep, vacuuming, and reporting maintenance needs.

Location: North West Hills. Pay rate: $16.00/Hour. Daily duties involve doors, floors, walls, and entrance areas, with safety-first practices and daily coordination with building staff. DailyPay available.

Qualifications

• Attendance and punctuality are essential for daily operations.
• Follows safety and security procedures; reports unsafe conditions.
• Willingness to perform routine janitorial tasks as described.

Responsibilities

• Spot clean the lobby glass doors
• Polish chrome on lobby doors
• Vacuum elevator cabs and wipe cab doors, walls, and tops twice a day
• Inspect the building exterior and pick up any trash
• Clean ashtrays and sand urns on every floor
• Empty and clean exterior trash receptacles
• Check restrooms twice dailyVacuum lobby once a day or as needed
• Sweep stairwells and landings as needed
• Remove all debris from landscaped areas as needed
• Sweep building entrances
• Clean and remove smudges and marks on walls, doors, and wall covering
• Report any lights out (exit, directory boards, etc.) to the Management Office
• Report any solicitors to the Management Office
• Where applicable, police lobby to keep floors and planters free of paper, debris, etc. Policing should be scheduled at high-traffic times each day. Empty all trash receptacles
• Vacuum carpeted floors
• Dust mop lobby floors twice daily
• Polish elevator cab railings and doors and main lobby call buttons
• Assist building Engineer daily per Management discretion
