Position: Day Porter

Location: Baltimore, MD

Hourly Rate: $20 to $25 per hour

FLSA status: Non-Exempt, 40+ hours per week. Work schedule may include day, evening, weekend, or holiday shifts based on operational needs.

Job Overview

The Facilities Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities. This role involves cleaning and sanitizing

various areas, handling waste disposal, and ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all staff and visitors. This will also report any maintenance issues and adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines.

Additional Tasks

• Clean clinical and non-clinical areas of the facility in accordance with departmental and company policy.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation policies.
• Follow protocols for storage, handling, and disposal of RMW, Hazmat, solid waste, and linen.
• Maintain and adhere to Environmental Service uniform and personal appearance standards at all times.
• Report all hazards and unsafe work conditions.
• Works with the purchasing department to order and track cleaning supplies.
• Works with Facilities Manager on building related projects as needed.
  
  

What We're Looking For

We are seeking individuals who have strong communication skills with attention to detail who thrive in fast-paced environments.

• High school diploma and at least one (1) year of related experience.
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
