Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, custodial, or day porter experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize daily tasks.
• Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail.
• Professional, friendly demeanor appropriate for a school and church environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift 25–40 pounds.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness throughout school and church’s common areas.
• Spot mop floors and place caution signs.
• Vacuum rugs.
• Sweep parking areas as needed.
• Wipe down window glass and elevator surfaces.
• Dust fixtures, countertops, and other surfaces.
• Empty trash.
• Service restroom; replenishing stock of consumables.
• Perform wipe down of cafeteria after breaks and lunches.
