Job summary

Allegiance Industries, Inc. in Georgia is seeking a Day Porter to maintain cleanliness in our education facility. Responsibilities include sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors and cleaning other surfaces, plus trash collection and restroom servicing.

You will move heavy items, identify repairs, and assist with floor care as needed, all while following supervisor directions and maintaining a professional, safety-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand, walk and perform cleaning tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to identify safety hazards and report to staff.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality are required.
• Capable of following instructions from supervisor and working with a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean buildings by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors and cleaning other surfaces
• Gather and empty trash
• Supply, clean and service restrooms
• Move heavy equipment, objects or furniture
• Identify and report possible repairs
• Possible floor work (steam clean carpets, wax, buff)
• Other duties as assigned
