Job summary

Allegiance Industries, Inc. is hiring a Day Porter for our manufacturing campus in Ohio. You will clean buildings by sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors, empty trash, service restrooms and move equipment as needed to support daily operations.

Shifts are Monday through Friday, with hours that vary between 7 AM and 3 PM. On-the-job training is provided, safety awareness is required, and reliable transportation is needed to travel between 2-3 buildings daily.

Qualifications

• Physical stamina and dexterity required.
• Ability to detect safety hazards and communicate with appropriate staff.
• Reliable transportation (will travel between 2-3 buildings daily).
• Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments.
• Ability to follow directions from a supervisor.
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Clean buildings by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors and cleaning other surfaces.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Supply, clean and service restrooms.
• Move heavy equipment, objects or furniture as needed.
• Identify and report possible repairs.
• Possible floor work such as steam cleaning carpets, applying wax, buffing.
• Other duties as assigned.
