Job summary

B and B Maintenance is seeking a dependable Day Porter in Salt Lake City, UT to maintain a clean, safe, and presentable commercial facility. Duties include cleaning restrooms, offices, cafeterias, and common areas, restocking supplies, and responding to cleaning requests.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am - 4:30pm, 40 hours per week, with bi-weekly pay. Full-time benefits after 60 days include medical/dental/vision/life, PTO, and 6 paid holidays. Equity participation via ESOP is available.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation is required.
• Complete Background Check, Drug Test, & E-Verify.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily cleaning responsibilities.
• Dependable, punctual, and responsive to cleaning requests.
• Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks such as standing, walking, sweeping, mopping, bending and lifting.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and use cleaning products appropriately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and wet mop floors throughout designated areas.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, fixtures, and floors.
• Restock restroom supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
• Clean and wipe down tables and chairs in cafeteria, office, and conference room areas.
• Clean and wipe down cubicles, workspaces, and conference rooms.
• Empty general office, cafeteria, and conference room trash from designated areas.
• Empty gondolas and bins in designated factory areas.
• Vacuum carpets in designated areas.
• Pick up trash in the parking lot and maintain the cleanliness of exterior areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse floors and other designated areas.
• Respond promptly to work orders and requests for cleaning assistance, including spills and other cleaning needs.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in an orderly manner.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Perform additional cleaning duties as needed to maintain a clean and safe facility.

Full-Time Cleaning Position Available in Salt Lake City, UT (near Salt Lake City International Airport)

Day-time Hours, Bi-Weekly Pay, 40 Hours per Week

B and B Maintenance is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Day Porter to help maintain a clean, safe, and presentable commercial facility. This position is responsible for daily cleaning and upkeep throughout the building, including restrooms, offices, conference rooms, cafeteria areas, warehouse floors, and designated factory areas. The ideal candidates are reliable, proactive, and comfortable working independently while responding to daily cleaning needs as they arise.

Compensation & Hours:

• B and B Maintenance offers competitive hourly salaries based on experience and skill set. The pay range for this position is $18/hour.
• Full time employees are eligible for benefits after 60 days of employment which includes: medical/dental/vision/life insurance, PTO (paid time off), & 6 paid holidays.
• Equity Participation: This role is eligible to participate in the company’s Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), providing the opportunity to earn equity and share in the long-term growth and success of the business.
