Job summary

OnPoint Building Services is seeking a Day Porter / Daytime Cleaner for a 12:00pm–2:00pm shift in Virginia Beach, VA. The role offers a starting wage of $14.00 per hour with weekly pay, paid training, and uniforms and supplies provided.

No prior experience required, and a referral bonus of up to $500 is available. Primary responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining commercial or medical offices, trash disposal, vacuuming, dusting, disinfecting surfaces, restroom upkeep, and ensuring timely

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning/janitorial experience is preferred but not required.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain a commercial or medical office.
• Collect and dispose of trash.
• Vacuum, dust, wipe and disinfect surfaces, sweep and mop floors.
• Clean restrooms, restock supplies.
• Ensure areas are cleaned timely according to schedule.
• Follow safety guidelines and customer service expectations.

What we offer: Weekly pay, with the option to have advanced pay. Paid training (no experience needed) , uniforms and all supplies provided, referral bonus of up to $500, and room to grow into lead and supervisor roles.

General Purpose:

Ensuring the accurate and timely cleaning of a commercial or medical office. You will need a clean background check and the ability to pass a drug screen.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collection and disposal of trash (small and large cans).
• Vacuuming (upright and vacuum backpack).
• Dusting.
• Wiping and disinfecting surfaces.
• Sweeping.
• Mopping.
• Restroom cleaning, restocking, and replenishing.
• Office area cleaning.
• Ensures timely completion of assigned cleaning area(s) according to schedule.
• Follows safety guidelines, quality standards, and ensures customer service expectations are met.
• Performs other janitorial duties as needed.

Qualifications/Education/Work Experience:

• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work preferred but not required.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must have reliable transportation to job location.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires bending, twisting, lifting (up to 25 pounds), stretching, reaching, and standing for extended periods of time.

This is a Part-Time position1st Shift.
