Job summary

CCS Facility Services is seeking a Day Porter to maintain common areas in office buildings and other facilities. You will perform cleaning tasks to keep lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and entryways orderly and presentable, following established standards.

Location is North West Hills. The role pays $16.00 per hour, and DailyPay is available to provide immediate access to earned wages. This position offers reliable hours and a team-focused environment with safety and dependability expected.

• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Spot clean lobby glass doors and polish chrome on doors.
• Vacuum elevator cabs and wipe cab doors, walls, and tops.
• Inspect building exterior and pick up trash; empty trash receptacles.
• Clean ashtrays and sand urns on each floor; empty exterior receptacles.
• Check restrooms twice daily; vacuum lobby daily; sweep stairwells as needed.
• Remove debris from landscaped areas; sweep building entrances.
• Clean and remove smudges on walls, doors, and wall coverings.
• Report lights out and solicitors to Management Office; police lobby as needed.

Job Details:

A Day porter is responsible for maintaining common areas of office buildings, apartment houses, or other commercial or institutional buildings in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties:

Location: North West Hills

Pay Rate: $16.00/Hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Spot clean the lobby glass doors
• Polish chrome on lobby doors
• Vacuum elevator cabs and wipe cab doors, walls, and tops twice a day
• Inspect the building exterior and pick up any trash
• Clean ashtrays and sand urns on every floor
• Empty and clean exterior trash receptacles
• Check restrooms twice daily
• Vacuum lobby once a day or as needed
• Sweep stairwells and landings as needed
• Remove all debris from landscaped areas as needed
• Sweep building entrances
• Clean and remove smudges and marks on walls, doors, and wall covering
• Report any lights out (exit, directory boards, etc.) to the Management Office
• Report any solicitors to the Management Office
• Where applicable, police lobby to keep floors and planters free of paper, debris, etc. Policing should be scheduled at high-traffic times each day. Empty all trash receptacles
• Vacuum carpeted floors
• Dust mop lobby floors twice daily
• Polish elevator cab railings and doors and main lobby call buttons
• Assist building Engineer daily per Management discretion
