Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a Day Porter (Facilities) to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at our Alpharetta facility. This role handles routine custodial tasks, light maintenance, and supports daily operations with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include cleaning, waste management, basic maintenance, and helping prepare spaces for meetings and events. Fluency in English and a HS Diploma are required.

• Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, tools, and chemical usage.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to identify hazards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe facility environment per standards.
• Use floor scrubbers, brooms, mops, carpet cleaners, etc. to clean as needed.
• Empty and rel ine waste receptacles; dispose of waste properly.
• Assist with maintenance tasks in breakroom and restrooms; light plumbing tasks.
• Conduct perimeter walks to pick up trash and maintain cleanliness.
• Keep an inventory of supplies for facility maintenance.
• Report equipment or facility issues to maintenance team.
• Assist in setting up/take down areas for meetings, trainings, events.
• Provide support to Maintenance Technicians on day-to-day tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
