Job summary

CCS Facility Services in Costa Mesa, CA is hiring a Day Porter to keep the workplace clean, organized and disinfected, with duties spanning offices, hallways, lobbies, restrooms and common areas. You will vacuum, sweep and mop floors, clean glass, replenish supplies, empty trash, and follow safety procedures.

The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and pass Live Scan background checks. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Background check and Live Scan fingerprinting required by California law.
• Attendance and punctuality are essential for this shift.
• Reliability and following instructions are critical to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Comply with safety and security procedures to protect employees and customers.

Responsibilities

• Clean the interior of buildings, including floors, carpets, rugs, windows and walls; vacuum, sweep and mop floors.
• Clean and maintain restrooms; replenish supplies.
• Disinfect commonly used items such as desks, door handles, office tools and phones.
• Empty trash and recycling; maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages.
• Close doors at the end of the night shift and follow safety precautions.
