Job summary

Clean Team Inc. is seeking a professional and dependable Day Porter to support daily operations at American Greetings in Westlake, Ohio.

This position maintains cleanliness and appearance across facilities, handles spills and restrooms, and supports event setup as needed. The ideal candidate is proactive, customer-service oriented, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a busy campus environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial or porter roles preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be dependable and punctual.
• Ability to walk and remain active throughout the shift.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Background check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness throughout buildings during daytime hours.
• Monitor and clean restrooms throughout the shift.
• Handle spills, touch-up cleaning, and urgent cleaning requests.
• Remove trash and maintain common areas.
• Refill paper products, soap, and other consumable supplies.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown when needed.
• Communicate with supervisors regarding building needs or concerns.
• Help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
