Day Porter (Temporary – Comic-Con 2025)
Shift/Hours:

• 1st Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
  Orientation & Training:Monday, July 21, 2025 – 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
  Event Dates:Wednesday, July 23 – Sunday, July 27, 2025
  Pay Rate:20.00 – 21.00 /hr
  Location:San Diego, CA – San Diego Convention Center

• Keep floors clear of debris and maintain cleanliness in exhibit halls and public areas
• Empty and replace trash bags, transport waste to designated bins
• Break down cardboard boxes for recycling
• Monitor designated areas to ensure they remain clean, safe, and presentable
• Collaborate with the team and assist attendees with basic questions or directions
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any safety or maintenance issues

Preferred Skills & Characteristics:

• Previous experience in custodial work, janitorial services, or hospitality is a plus
• Comfortable working aroundlarge crowdsin a high-traffic environment
• Friendly, approachable, and reliable
• Strongcommunication and teamworkskills
• Ability to workindependentlyand follow directions
• Available to workall event days and required orientation

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able towalk, stand, bend, stoop, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbsfor extended periods
• Ability tomove throughout exhibit halls and between aislesin crowded environments
• Work may involve exposure to airborne particles and varying indoor temperatures

Uniform Requirements:

• Wear your ownblack pants(no leggings)
• Closed-toe black or dark brown shoessuitable for walking
• PrideStaff will provide an event t-shirt during orientation
