ABM Industries in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Day Porter to maintain clean and welcoming spaces during business hours. Duties include cleaning lobbies, restrooms, and common areas, restocking supplies, and assisting with meeting setups.

The role runs Monday–Friday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm with a pay rate of $17.25 per hour. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred) and prior janitorial or porter experience.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, custodial, or porter experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, hallways, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas throughout the day.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Monitor restrooms and restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
• Clean spills, fingerprints, smudges, and debris as needed.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and replace liners.
• Wipe down high-touch surfaces such as door handles, elevator buttons, and railings.
• Set up or break down rooms for meetings or events as requested.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to supervisor.
• Follow established safety procedures and cleaning protocols.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service to staff and visitors.
