ARGU INC is seeking a Male Day Porter to join our facilities team in South Frederick, MD. The role focuses on keeping spaces clean, safe, and welcoming for employees and guests, with morning shifts and a Monday–Friday pattern described in the posting.

Responsibilities include cleaning, restocking supplies, and maintaining entryways and high-traffic areas. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

About the Role:

ARGU INC is looking for a Male Day Porter to join our team in South Frederick, MD! This is a great opportunity to be a vital part of maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors alike. If you take pride in your work and enjoy keeping spaces looking their best, we want to hear from you! During the Following Schedule:
-Monday-Thursday from 7:00 am to 11:00 am
-Friday from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of common areas, restrooms, lobbies, and hallways throughout the day
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other restroom essentials as needed
• Remove trash and recyclables from designated areas and replace liners
• Respond promptly to spills, messes, and other immediate cleaning needs
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
• Monitor and maintain the appearance of entryways, elevators, and high-traffic areas
• Communicate with supervisors regarding supply needs or facility maintenance issues

Requirements:

• Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, or porter services preferred
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with minimal supervision needed
• Ability to operate standard cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely
• Strong communication skills and a professional, courteous demeanor
• Must be able to lift up to 30–50 lbs as needed
