Job summary

Kleen-Tech Services in Colorado Springs is seeking a reliable Day Porter/General Custodian to keep restrooms, offices, break rooms, hallways, lobbies, and common areas clean and welcoming.

This full-time, non-exempt position requires 6 months to 1 year of janitorial experience, English communication, dependable attendance, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Base pay is $15.50 per hour, with occasional travel to other sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year janitorial, custodial, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to assist at other locations when needed.
• DL required, must be willing to drive to different sites.
• Must pass background checks and fingerprints.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain restrooms, offices, break rooms, hallways, lobbies, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and polish floors
• Dust furniture, equipment, and surfaces
• Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to designated disposal areas
• Clean windows, doors, walls, and other surfaces
• Replenish restroom and facility supplies
• Set up and break down tables and chairs for meetings and events
• Replace light bulbs as needed
• Assist visitors with directions or basic questions
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Complete additional duties as assigned by management

• Regular standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting
