Job Title: Day Porter
Location: Chicago Heights, IL
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team at a paint factory in Chicago Heights, IL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a safe, sanitary environment throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of common areas, including break rooms, restrooms, and office spaces.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
• Restock and maintain supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other janitorial products.
• Sweep, mop, and disinfect floors to maintain a clean and hazard-free workspace.
• Address spills and other immediate cleaning needs promptly.
• Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in janitorial, porter, or custodial work is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Must be dependable and punctual.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Drug screening is required for all employees working at this location.
