Job summary

Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa seeks a Mishomis House Day Manager to oversee the Mishomis Recovery Program’s daily operations at Mishomis Wellness Center. You will coordinate referrals, intake processes, and program schedules, while ensuring documentation and ethical standards are maintained.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and sensitivity to Ojibwa culture, with experience in substance abuse treatment preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires good judgement and the ability to respond to emergencies.
• Ability to work under stressful conditions and manage conflicts.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of Ojibwa culture and traditions is preferred.
• Experience in substance abuse treatment settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of Mishomis Recovery Program.
• Manage master schedule for rooms, programs, and activities.
• Respond to referrals and complete intake processes.
• Collaborate with service teams to assess client suitability and care plans.
• Ensure proper documentation of client information and services provided.
• Lead implementation of program policies and SOPs.
• Facilitate periodic client satisfaction surveys and safe, healing programming.
