Day Dry Warehouse Order Selector (Transportation)

If you want a job that keeps you busy and moving, then this is it! This position is responsible for picking orders in the warehouse and staging them on pallets before they are sent out on a truck for delivery. You need to be fast and accurate to ensure that the correct items are selected, and trucks are able to depart on time. Once the training period is completed, night shift order selectors are paid based on the number of pieces you can pick during the pay period - which means the harder you work, the more you make! Most employees average between $20-25 an hour on the piece rate pay, with top employees earning much more.

Order Selector w/ Pallet Jack (Dry or Perishable Warehouse)

This job involves a lot of moving through the warehouse with a pallet jack, and repetitive lifting for about 80% of the shift, generally lifting products that weigh 10-50 lbs, and on rare occasions up to 100 lbs. You will pick products as dictated by a pick list using a scanner, which provides specific instructions on aisle location, slot, and quantity to pick.

• Dry Night shift starts at 5pm; starting wage is $18 with frequent increases in the first 90 days, then moving to piece pay where you can easily earn $25/hr or more.
• Perishable Night shift starts at 5pm; starting wage is $19 with similar increase opportunities, then moving to piece pay.
• Dry Day shift starts at 7am; starting wage is $17 with frequent increases in the first 90 days and semi-frequent increases over the next 18 months.
• Perishable Day shift starts at 7am; starting wage is $18 with similar increase opportunities.

Note: Dry warehouse temperatures range from 40-80°F by season, Perishable warehouse is 29-53°F in the cooler, and -10 to 0°F in the freezer.

• Immediate eligibility for paid holidays.

• At 90 days: Eligible to contribute to a 401(k) plan.
