Description

Position Objective: To assist customers in their shopping experience by properly stocking shelves and displays efficiently, friendly, and courteously.

Reporting Structure: This position reports to the Store Director.

Status: Non-exempt position.

Knowledge

Completion of ongoing training as per the Cosentino Learning Plan. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Skills

Key responsibilities include:

• Implementing Cosentino Customer Service Standards.
• Unloading, sorting, and stocking shipments carefully.
• Maintaining a neat back room and cooler/freezer areas.
• Stocking shelves accurately and efficiently using UPC codes and face front display.
• Supporting inventory counts and recording.
• Updating shelf tags and labels as needed.
• Monitoring products for damage or expiration and handling damages properly.
• Operating and maintaining equipment safely.
• Meeting productivity standards.
• Ensuring cleanliness and safety in the work area.
• Adhering to health, sanitation, and safety regulations.
• Providing excellent verbal and interpersonal customer service.
• Answering customer questions accurately and courteously.
• Resolving complaints professionally and involving management when necessary.

Physical Abilities

Expectations include reaching, twisting, lifting up to 50 lbs, pushing carts, standing/walking for long periods, working in cold environments, and climbing ladders up to 5 ft.
