Job Overview

Position Objective: To assist customers by stocking shelves and displays efficiently, friendly, and courteously.

Reporting and Status

Reports to: Store Director

Status: Non-exempt

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of ongoing training as per Cosentino Learning Plan

Skills and Responsibilities

• Implement customer service standards
• Unload, sort, and stock shipments neatly without damage
• Maintain cleanliness of back room, coolers, and freezers
• Stock shelves using UPC codes and face front display method
• Support inventory with accurate counts and records
• Update shelf tags and price markers; label merchandise with missing UPCs
• Monitor and remove damaged or unsaleable products
• Operate, clean, and maintain equipment safely
• Meet productivity standards and ensure product rotation
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow health, sanitation, and safety regulations
• Provide positive customer interactions and resolve complaints professionally

Physical Requirements

• Reaching, twisting, lifting up to 10 lbs regularly; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
• Standing, walking, bending, and squatting for long periods
• Work in cold environments like coolers and freezers
