Job summary

Kids Only Child Care Center at Piedmont Crossing in Thomasville, NC, is hiring a Day Care Teacher Assistant to support the preschool program. The role assists the Lead Teacher in daily activities, curriculum delivery, supervision, and the overall development and safety of young children.

Day Care Teacher Assistant

Salary Range: $12.00 To $13.50 Hourly

Kids Only Child Care Center, located at Piedmont Crossing, is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Teacher Assistant to support our preschool program. The Teacher Assistant works closely with the Lead Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that promotes the educational, social, emotional, and physical development of young children. This position assists with daily classroom activities, curriculum implementation, supervision, and the overall well-being of the children in our care.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Working toward an Early Childhood Credential or related early childhood education certification.

Minimum Experience Requirements:

• At least one year of experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare, preschool, or early learning environment preferred.
• Early Childhood Credential preferred.

Additional Qualifications:

• Current CPR and First Aid certification, or the ability to obtain certification upon hire.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, families, and team members.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
