Job summary

City of Cincinnati is seeking a Recreation Specialist (TR-Day Camps) to facilitate recreation and leisure activities for teens and young adults with disabilities in a structured day camp setting.

You will lead engaging activities, adapt programs to participant needs, supervise staff, ensure safety, and communicate clearly with participants and families while pursuing CPR/First Aid, CPI, and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certifications within three months of hire.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• One year experience working directly with individuals with disabilities.
• Certification must be obtained and maintained as part of employment ( CPR/First Aid, CPI, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention).
• Certification must be acquired within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate recreation and leisure activities in a day camp setting.
