A college degree for this position is preferred, but is not required. Physical agility to lift up to 25 lbs. bend, stoop, sit on the floor, climb stairs, walk and reach overhead.**Work Environment:** The employee regularly works in a school or office setting. The noise level is quiet to moderate.**Qualifications:** Requires general knowledge of academic skills. Demonstrated ability to tutor and supervise students. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, teachers, parents and staff and to communicate effectively, orally and in writing. Demonstrated ability to work independently and assume responsibility without direct supervision; to prioritize work and to follow oral and written instructions.# **Additional Job Requirements:**Bachelor’s Degree and Valid VA Teaching License. Experience teaching or tutoring is preferred.
