About the Role

Our Processing Laboratory Lab Assistants prepare blood donor samples for testing, perform quality control testing, and support the Bench Techs to ensure the correct products reach patients. Responsibilities also include preparing components, releasing and labeling products, and preparing products for shipping.

Position Details

This is a full-time position (30+ hours) working 3rd shift, Monday - Friday, with every other Saturday and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; previous medical field experience preferred.
• Associate’s Degree or Medical Assistant Degree preferred.
• Must be detail-oriented with high accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills and a team player.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screening required.
