Job description

Dauphin Fixed Route Driver (CDL Required) Part-time

Vehicle Pick Up/Drop Off Location: 901 N. Cameron Street Harrisburg, PA

Pay: $28.58/hour to start with an increase to $30.16/hour after successful completion of the 90-day probationary period. Bi-weekly paycheck. Home nightly!

*Rates and increases determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement

Requirements - Must have this COMPLETELY at the time of application for this position:

  • Already have CDL Class A or B WITH Passenger Endorsement ("P" Endorsement), AND Air Brake Restriction Lifted (No "L", No "Z" and No "N" Restrictions on CDL). If do not have this completely, can apply for Non CDL Driver.
  • Open Availability to work during ANY of our Fixed Route Service Times, as the schedule will fall between these days/times: Monday - Saturday 3:00 AM - 11:30 PM

Throughout the day, our Fixed Route operators safely and courteously transport passengers along predetermined routes. Responsibilities include completing inspections, maintaining accurate records, assisting passengers with wheelchairs and other mobility devices, receiving and accounting for fares, using radio communications, following emergency procedures, and completing other activities assigned by the Operations Supervisor/ Site Manager.
