Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. seeks an Orace PL/Sql Developer to join our hybrid team supporting Charlotte, NC and Plano, TX locations. The role focuses on Oracle Exadata, PL/SQL development, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing within a fulltime, long-term engagement.

The position requires end-to-end SDLC experience, strong communication, and a proactive testing approach. Candidates must be US citizen/green card, with relocation possible.

Qualifications

• Must have Oracle Exadata and PL/SQL expertise.
• Experience with ETL/ELT and data warehousing
• Strong SQL development and performance tuning abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Must have skills: - Oracle Exadata, PL/SQL, ETL/ELT
• Visa- US Citizen, Green Card, and H4-EAD Only
• A collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills.
• The ability to handle end to end SDLC phases from requirement gathering to implementation.
• A knack for translating complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
• A passion for design and hands-on coding experience
• A proactive approach to testing, troubleshooting, and refining our applications.
• The ability to work with cross-functional teams and do software integration.
• Required Skill and Experience
• Hands on Experience with Oracle and Oracle Exadata.
• Sound knowledge of advanaced PL/SQL Programming
• Good Knowledge of SQL Development, Performance Tuning, Data Analysis and trouble shooting
• Good experience in end-to-end implementation of DW BI projects, especially in data warehouse and mart developments
• Good understanding of Data integration, Data Quality and data architecture ""
• Experience to Big data technologies is preferred.
• Experience in preparing test scripts and test cases to validate data and maintaining data quality
• Experience with design and implementation of ETL/ELT framework for complex warehouses/marts.
• Knowledge of large data sets and experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Hands-on development, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems
• CI / CD exposure
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.
